Ron Biscardi

Ron Biscardi co-founded Context Capital Partners in 2005 to target the seeding of top tier Alternative Investment Strategies. Today Context manages over $300 million in assets. Ron led the effort to create the Context BH Equity family of funds in 2006. These funds invest in top tier community banks throughout the country. Today, Ron serves as chairman of Context BH Equity Funds I & II.
Ron is also responsible for the firm's initial entry into hedge fund seeding through its strategic investment in Betzwood Partners, L.P. a Market Neutral, long/short telecom, media and technology fund. Ron also sits on the investment committee of the Titan Loan Investment Fund. Titan, with $115 million in assets, invests in distressed commercial real estate loans in the Eastern half of the United States. Ron also serves on the Board of the Accord Family Office and continues to serve as chairman of Xelerate, LLC, a middle market outsourcer of recruiting and human resource services that he founded in 2002.
Prior to founding Context, Ron was the manager of due diligence at the Edison Venture Fund, a $420 million early stage venture capital firm. In this role, he assisted in the successful evaluation, investment, and management of portfolio companies in the wireless, enterprise software, middleware, networking infrastructure, and pharmaceutical marketing industries.
Ron is the Secretary of the Mastery charter school, Thomas, Shoemaker, Pickett, Mann, Herrity, and Smedley Boards and a member of the advisory council of the Decision Education Foundation.
Ron graduated from Drexel University with a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1991.
